It’s just that long weekend around the corner, probably its that time of the year where one can start the riding calendar in style and poise. planning to ride for that that long weekend you were itching to ride on but confused were to go? if you are from Mumbai, probably you must have exhausted the regulars like Lonavala, Igatpuri, Daman or even the statue of unity, don’t worry we at Motopanda have suggested you a place which not covers good clicks on your odometer but leaves you with a slice of history. perhaps even so much so that you would be left remembering those history chapters from your grade 5 history textbooks back in school.
So why Aurangabad? The reason is Aurangabad has everything from open stretches, the good highways, the caves, the hill station and what not? seems like fun ride right? so we at Motopanda would suggest our top picks to visit and since they are in close vicinity in the cluster you can cover a lot of sightseeing on a 3-day trip.
Our suggestion for Mumbai to Aurangabad Riding itinerary
Day 1 – Mumbai to Mhaismal 360kms
A hill station, a road with ups and downs reaching to historic Daulatbad fort at one end and connecting to the 4th largest city of Maharashtra. You can plan your visits based on the main places we suggest and we would also mention the clusters we spoke about to cover the maximum points of the ride at the end of the blog.
Day 2 – Explore the history
Aurangabad is perhaps one of those unique places where there are traces of history everywhere. let alone the culture and the architecture which are a proof of the dynasties that ruled here, the Mughals, the Nizams, and the Marathas, but also the historic and world-recognized UNESCO sites like the Ajanta and Ellora caves as well, carvings of which are testimony the craftsmanship and attention to details since the stone age days which clearly implies man at that period to was one of the most evolved creature even without any tools and gizmos.
Day 3 – Return to home
The ride shall leave you with everlasting memories, its time to reach home safe and sound!!!
